This comprehensive package of business support is aimed at enabling small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in the Humber to grow and become more productive. Whichever stage your business is at, we’ll support you every step of the way.

Running until September 2021, the Business Growth Scheme will give you access to local, regional and national information, advice and guidance, through which you will be able to gain essential knowledge in order to grow your business.

Whether you’ve a single-issue enquiry or want a full diagnostic of your business and its support needs, our experienced team of advisors can work with you to create a tailored package of support, to help accelerate your business growth plans.

Our advisors will also be able to refer you to other sources of business support, advice and grant-funds as appropriate, including many of our state-funded business support partners.

Need some additional finance to access some expertise or to pay for a service to help drive forward your business growth plans? Identified through your one-to-one support from our advisors, our Business Growth Grant can fund up to 40% of your eligible project costs.

Our business advisors will help to identify the expertise or services you require, scope out the project, select a supplier, and collate your application for funding.

You’ve found the scheme

Now that you’ve found the scheme that’s right for you, all you need to do is complete the online form to register your interest.

Step 2.
Are you eligible?

95% of SMEs in the Humber region may be eligible to access support. If you’re a business with under 250 full-time equivalent employees you should fit the bill.

Step 3.
Register your interest

Simply complete an Expression of Interest and we’ll check your eligibility for you. One of our advisors will then be in touch to find out how we can help.

Is your business eligible?

As a minimum, your business must:

  • Be trading in the Humber area – Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire
  • Have less than 250 full-time equivalent employees
  • Have a turnover of less than €50m or a balance sheet of less than €43m

If eligible, SMEs will be able to apply for all aspects of the #GrowMySME programme.
